Embarkation from 4:00 p.m. You will spend the first night and evening in Saarburg. In its centre you will find a waterfall of 20 meters deep as well as many baroque buildings and fisher houses. Around 6:00 p.m. the captain and crew will welcome you on board.
Your first bike tour begins after breakfast and takes you to an oxbow of the Saar River, continuing through Wasserbillig in Luxembourg to the Igel Column. In the afternoon, you will arrive in Trier, where your ship will be waiting for you. Trier was made the Roman administrative center and is especially known for the Porta Nigra, a city gate of gigantic proportions. A tour here is highly recommended.
After breakfast, you will head to Mehring. The town is surrounded by vineyards, forests, and meadows and is considered the largest wine-growing area in the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region. Over 2000 years ago, the Romans already appreciated the beautiful landscape.
Today you will reach Bernkastel-Kues by bike. The market place from the Middle Ages with many wood timbered houses invites you for a rest. On your way you visit Neumagen-Dhron which is the oldest wine city of Germany. Further on you reach Piesport, the oldest wine growing community along the Moselle. You should take the time to enjoy the popular wines.
From Bernkastel-Kues to Traben-Trarbach the route continues along the right bank of the Moselle. You follow the meanders of the Moselle and reach Zell on the Moselle – known for the “Zeller Schwarze Katz” wine location. In Zell you should take the opportunity to get to know the good wines of the Moselle.
The perfect maintained historical centre of Beilstein, “the Sleeping Beauty of the Mosel”, is waiting for you. Today’s tour ends in Cochem with the Reichsburg. Cochem is a lovely little town with historical half-timbered-houses and a picturesque Old town.
Today you can spend the day on board and relax on the sundeck. Enjoy the beautiful Moselle landscape passing by and stroll along the “Deutsche Eck” in Koblenz in the afternoon, where Moselle and Rhine flow together. Experienced cyclists can cycle from Cochem to Koblenz and visit Burg Eltz.
Disembarkation after breakfast at 9:00 a.m. Individual journey home.
Tour character
Most of the stretches are paved or asphalted without any gradients of note. This makes the trip suitable even for unpractised cyclist.

Schedule and program changes Basically, we reserve the right to make changes of routing and program. If there is low or high water and a route cannot be shipped, the captain reserves the right to change the route in view of your safety (this cannot be accepted as a reason for free withdrawal). Same applies to previously unbeknownst administrative orders of lock or bridge repairs.

The GUIBO app is your constant companion during your SE-Tours original journey. A glance at your smartphone is all you need to travel safely and worry-free, with all important information at your fingertips. Travel information, ship details, contact information, and your bike tours are available digitally in the route book, accessible offline and at any time. The app is available for free and works on all standard smartphones. You will automatically receive the access details to download your booked trip via email before your trip begins. If you still prefer to receive all documents from us in printed form beforehand, an additional fee will apply. We will send you all travel information in advance via Email, and the maps for your bike tours will be available exclusively on board.
Travel documents EU-citizens (without special situations like dual citizenship, main residence abroad or a limited-validity passport) are required to have a valid passport or ID-card, not expiring within six (6) months of the return of your cruise. We kindly ask non-EU citizens, EU-nationals with multiple citizenship or anybody who has to respect special legal entry requirements for the country to visit, to inform about visa and entry documents at the competent embassy.
This trip is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
We recommend that you take out a travel health insurance with repatriation coverage as well as baggage, accident and travel cancellation insurances.
