Tour details
Individual arrival and transfer to the port of Milazzo. Embarkation takes place at 6 p.m. in the Marina di Nettuno in Milazzo. There you will meet the crew and can move into your accommodation on board. We will serve you a welcome drink and dinner, followed by a presentation of the itinerary.
Today you will cycle towards Capo di Milazzo, where you will have the opportunity to swim in the beautiful Venus Basin, a protected natural sea basin. Once in Milazzo, you will visit the castle and the historic center. We will spend the night in the port of Milazzo.
Today, the Sundial sets course for the island of Vulcano. It is also known as the “Sulfur Island” because sulfur vapor rises from its craters. Here, you can explore the island's hinterland around the village of Piano by bike, an ideal place to admire the spectacular landscape. In the afternoon, you will have free time to enjoy many interesting activities: hike to the crater of the largest volcano, Vulcano della Fossa, take a hot bath in the sulfur mud (Pozza dei Fanghi), or swim in the sea among the bubbling fumaroles (volcanic openings in the earth) that are located underwater. Overnight stay in the port of Vulcano.
After breakfast, we set off for Panarea, the smallest of the Aeolian Islands. We make a stop at the mini-islands of Lisca Bianca, Bottara, and Dattilo, where volcanic activity is still clearly visible, to dive into the blue sea. Upon arrival in Panarea, you can have lunch on board in a beautiful bay. The Sundial then sails towards Stromboli. From the water, you have a beautiful view of the famous Sciara del Fuoco, the “fire slide,” over which lava flows repeatedly from the crater of the volcano. In the late afternoon, we will hike up to an altitude of 400 meters above sea level to admire the volcanic activity at dusk. We will then enjoy a picnic dinner together at a beautiful viewpoint. Tonight, we will spend the night in a sheltered anchorage near Stromboli.
Today, after breakfast, we head back to the island of Panarea. We anchor in the bay at the port of San Pietro. From there, you can go on a hike that takes you through the village of Panarea, across the beach, and through the prehistoric village of Drautto. At lunchtime, you will enjoy a picnic with a view of the beautiful Cala Junco bay before we return to the Sundial. Then we will reach the island of Salina. There you can explore the shops and sample local specialties. We will spend the night in the port of Salina.
Our day begins with a bike ride across the island of Salina. From Santa Marina on the east coast, you will cycle to Pollara, a historic village with stunning panoramic views in the west of Salina. We will then continue to the small lake at Punta Lingua, the southernmost tip of the island. There you can enjoy a wonderfully refreshing local granita. Once back on board the ship, we continue to the pretty island of Lipari, where you can stroll through the village of the same name in the evening. We spend the night in the port of Lipari.
After breakfast, enjoy a beautiful bike ride along the coast of Lipari. From the town of Lipari, we will pass the picturesque village of Canneto and the beach of the same name. At the Quattrocchi viewpoint, we will stop for a picnic lunch before cycling back to the historic center of Lipari. There are many shops and restaurants to explore. After returning on board, we will begin our return trip to Milazzo. There, you will enjoy your last dinner of the trip in one of the city's many restaurants and spend the night in the port of Milazzo.
After breakfast, disembarkation by 9:00 a.m. and individual journey home.
