Travel Details
Individual arrival and, if necessary, transfer from the airport to the ship. Check-in on the Panagiota from 2 p.m. Dinner on board and overnight stay in Corfu.

Cast off! Your ship will set sail before breakfast for a two-hour crossing to the mainland. There you will adjust your bikes and then begin your first bike tour, which will take you from Sivota to Parga, beautifully situated below a Venetian castle. There, the Panagiota will pick you up and take you on a long crossing to Nidri on the island of Lefkas. On the way, you will pass an original swing bridge, which allows you to cross the narrow channel between Lefkada and the mainland. You will spend the evening in the lively harbor of Nidri.

After breakfast, you will first cycle a short distance to a waterfall near Nidri. With a little luck, it will still have enough water for a refreshing morning swim. Then you will cycle along partly deserted roads through the mountains via Sivros to the picturesque harbor of Sivota. From here, you will take the boat to Fiskardo on the island of Kefalonia. Located at the northern tip of the island, this harbor town enchants visitors with its colorful houses and numerous cafés and bars along the picturesque harbor promenade.

Today, you will leave Fiskardo Bay by bike and climb an impressive mountain road on the west coast of Kefalonia, offering unforgettable views of the Assos peninsula and the famous Myrtos beach. You then cross the island and, shortly before the end of the bike tour, visit the Melissani stalactite cave, which can only be explored by rowing boat and whose crystal-clear water shimmers in a variety of blue tones. In Sami, the ship is already waiting to take you to Vathy on Ithaca.

In the morning, you will discover Ithaca by bike. The home of the mythical hero Odysseus is a mountainous island with a very charming landscape. Away from the tourist crowds, you can enjoy the typical character of the Ionian Islands: gnarled olive trees, deep blue sea, and friendly islanders – time seems to have stood still on Ithaca. Decide for yourself whether you want to tackle a real mountain stage today or prefer to follow the panoramic road halfway up. In Frikes, the Panagiota awaits you for the crossing to the small island of Meganisi.

Today, you will explore the small island of Meganisi by bike. The panoramic tour takes you along secluded island roads and through the island's three villages, giving you a good impression of traditional Greek island life. Take a break for coffee and a swim at Spartochori beach. Later, you can relax on board during the long crossing to Paxos. Your destination is the unique natural harbor of Gaios, which has a very special island atmosphere. You can end the evening in one of the cozy taverns in Gaios.

Paxos, the smallest of the seven Ionian Islands, is a single grove of olive trees that give the island its wonderful silver-green color. On the bike tour, you will circle the island once. The Mediterranean Sea invites you to take a refreshing dip at one of the many beaches. After lunch, the Panagiota will take you back to Corfu, where you can round off your trip with a dinner together and a cozy get-together on board.

After breakfast, check out of the Panagiota and either return home or extend your vacation in Greece.

Tour Character
The cycling stages require participants to have a certain level of basic fitness, which should be acquired through regular cycling. The routes reach heights of between 300 and 600 m. The daily stages of 20–40 km lead through hilly and mountainous terrain and are cycled without time pressure. Steeper or longer climbs also have to be mastered, but pushing your bike is definitely allowed.

Bringing your own bikes For the trip you have booked, you will need a bike with derailleur gears in perfect technical condition. We offer high-quality and optimally maintained rental bikes. However, if you prefer to bring your own trekking bike, please check the condition of the brakes, gears, and tires before the trip and also obtain a repair kit and spare parts (e.g., inner tube). Please note that bringing your own bike on the plane incurs relatively high additional costs and there is a high risk of transport damage. Due to safety regulations on the ships and to protect the health of our employees, it is not possible to bring your own e-bike. If you would like to ride an e-bike, please rent one from our stock. We advise against bringing your own road bike, as the narrow road bike tires are not suitable for the roads we ride on. SE-Tours GmbH accepts no liability for any damage caused to a bike you bring with you during loading, unloading, or transport.
Group pace On a trekking bike tour, the guided group pace is based on the trekking cyclists. Anyone renting an e-bike on a trekking bike tour is asked to be considerate of those riding without electronic assistance. We thank you for your understanding. This tour is primarily designed as a guided group tour. After prior consultation with our tour guides, there is nothing to prevent you from cycling individually. During the daily program meetings, your tour guides will explain everything you need to know about the next day's stage. If you prefer to travel alone rather than with the group, you can cycle independently and at your own pace. For your orientation, we provide you with access to the free route app for your smartphone, a detailed bike map, and GPS tracks. Your guides will be riding the same bike route as you. This means they will be nearby and available by phone in case of emergencies, problems, or questions.
Timetable and program changes Changes due to weather, water levels, or technical conditions are always possible on boat trips. The daily program depends on the weather conditions and the captain's instructions. A boat trip can be substituted for a bike tour at any time. (This is not a valid reason for free cancellation).
Other information Please bear in mind that your motor glider is not only your “holiday hotel” but also a working vessel that is powered by an engine and must be operated continuously, even at night. We recommend that guests who are particularly sensitive to noise bring earplugs with them.
Travel documents EU citizens (who do not have any special circumstances, e.g., dual citizenship, primary residence abroad, or provisionally issued travel documents) require a valid ID card or passport for this trip, which must be valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip. If you have a different citizenship or multiple citizenships, or if you have to comply with special legal requirements, please check the respective visa and entry requirements with your local consulate.
This trip is not suitable for people with limited mobility.
We recommend taking out international health insurance with repatriation, accident, baggage, and travel cancellation insurance.

I would gladly help you plan your trip.
